Terms of Use

Effective 24 June 2026.

These Terms govern your use of the Honest Build HQ website and the Scout tool ("the Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What the Service does

Scout takes a source you provide (such as text, an article, a document or a link) and produces AI-generated summaries and creative treatments of it in several formats. It is a productivity aid, not an authority.

2. AI output — important disclaimer

Scout's outputs are generated by artificial intelligence. They:

• may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date;
• are provided for general information and convenience only; and
• are not professional, legal, financial, medical, academic, or other expert advice.

You must independently verify any output before you rely on or act on it. You use Scout's output at your own risk.

3. Your responsibilities

• You confirm you have the right to submit any source material you provide, and that doing so does not infringe anyone's copyright, confidentiality, or other rights.
• You will use the Service lawfully and not to create unlawful, infringing, harmful, or misleading content.
• If you use the "Bring your own key" feature, you are responsible for your own Anthropic API key and any usage and charges on it. That call runs in your browser directly with Anthropic; we are not a party to it.

4. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. The Service is currently in an early testing phase and may change or be unavailable.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Honest Build HQ will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service or its outputs. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, for the Service.

6. Payments

Paid features, where offered, will be billed in Indian Rupees through a third-party payment provider. Pricing, credits, and refund terms will be stated at the point of purchase. During the current testing phase, paid features may not be active.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, and its content are owned by Honest Build HQ. The summaries Scout generates from your source are yours to use, subject to your having the rights to the underlying source.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms or the Service at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the Service. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Mumbai shall have jurisdiction.
